(Per the Tuesday Agenda Memorandum, the Board's consideration of this item is based upon the item as modified by Additional Material 16-A, submitted by the Purchasing Division, which includes amendments to the Summary/Background of the agenda item and to the proposed Agreement (Exhibit 2).) ACTION: (T-11:07 AM) Approved Resolution No. 2026-078 as amended with Regular Meeting Additional Material 16-A, dated April 14, 2026, submitted at the request of Purchasing Division. (Refer to minutes for full discussion.) VOTE: 9-0. B. MOTION TO AWARD fixed contract to single bidder, Continental Heavy Civil Corp, for Port Everglades Sand Bypass Project North Jetty Improvements, Bid No. PNC2130772C1, for the Public Works and Environmental Services Department, in the amount of $31,712,322 for base bid, including a total allowance of $10,000, and authorize execution of the Agreement. (County Attorney Andrew Meyers pulled this item from the Consent Agenda.) (Per the Tuesday Agenda Memorandum, the Board's consideration of this item is based upon the item as modified by Additional Material 16-A, submitted by the Purchasing Division, which includes amendments to the Summary/Background of the agenda item and to the proposed Agreement (Exhibit 2).) ACTION: (T-11:07 AM) Approved as amended with Regular Meeting Additional Material 16-A, dated April 14, 2026, submitted at the request of Purchasing Division; and as amended, after the language authorizing execution of the agreement, to include “in substantially the form attached to the agenda item, as revised by Additional Material 16-A, authorizing the County Administrator to revise the agreement, provided the revisions do not increase cost or financial risk or modify the scope, and subject to review and approval as to legal sufficiency by the County Attorney’s Office.” (Refer to minutes for full discussion.) VOTE: 9-0.
