Mayor's Advisory Council Minutes May 13,2025 6:00 p.m.

The Mayor's Advisory Council meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. Members present from left to right: Yvonne Shanklin, Roy Estes, Kristen Sallberg, and Ray Nelson.

1. Call to Order

President Kristen Sallberg called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

2. Pledge of Allegiance

The members present recited the Pledge.

3. Approval of the Agenda

Ms. Shanklin motions to approve the agenda, and Mr. Nelson seconds the motion.

4. Action Items

4.1 Approval of April 8,2025, Minutes - Mr. Estes made a motion to approve the minutes and Mr. Nelson seconded the motion.

5.1 Brad Dennis, Free International- Non-Profit organization that works with Human trafficking cases all over the country, based in Pensacola, FL.

5.2 Tree Dedication update- Ms. Sallberg suggests doing the Anniversary of the United States and in honor of Sheila L the Bush house during their Bastille Day event.

6.2 The senior center will host a Senior Health Day on Tuesday, May 20.

6. Mayor's Minute

5.3 The Kiwanis club is hosting their first annual yard sale to benefit Crestview citizens with "kid projects" across the street from Pep Boys at 8 a.m.

6.3 The Memorial Day Service is being held on Monday, May 26th at 10 a.m., as always, it will be in front of the Veterans Memorial.

6.4 The Blue Wahoo's game is Thursday, June $ 5^{\\mathrm{th}} $ , and the team is hosting a city night in honor of Crestview.
