AB 2449 Teleconference Procedures: Under AB 2449, a Community Services Commissioner may appear by Microsoft Teams teleconference under certain specified circumstances. In the event that a Community Services Commissioner appears remotely under AB 2449, a Microsoft Teams teleconference will be open for use by the Community Services Commissioner as well as any member of the public that desires to participate. If all members of the Community Services Commission are physically present, then the Microsoft Teams teleconference will be unavailable. The Community Services Commission will strictly enforce these rules in order to allow full expression of ideas and opinions by council members, staff and the public. Generally, the City's rules of decorum prohibit comments or actions which willfully disrupt the meeting. All remarks and questions shall be addressed to the Commission as a whole and not to any particular member. No individual Commissioner or member of the City staff shall be questioned without first obtaining permission from the Presiding Officer.
