APPROVED MINUTES

Chair Gupta called the regular meeting of the Heritage & Arts Commission to order at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday,

February 24, 2026 in Town Council Chambers, 1505 Tiburon Boulevard, Tiburon, California.

DISCUSSION ITEMS

DI-1. Artist Laureate Update. The Artist Laureate, Christa Grenawalt, brought in a ‘zine she had

produced to accompany her January/February exhibition in Town Hall, which the commissioners

agreed looked very professional and interesting. She also reported that the third-grade class from

Reed School would be coming to Town Hall for a field trip to view the exhibition and participate in

an art project related to the exhibition and their own sense of place. Additionally, she reported on a

new, ongoing project she has launched called Waterline Reflections: Voices from the Bay.

DI-2. Art Exhibition and Opening Reception Procedures. The Commission reviewed Gallery

Management document and discussed Commissioner responsibilities for art exhibitions and opening

receptions.

DI-3. April/May/June Art Exhibition in Lower Gallery. Commissioner Fong presented the theme and

artists for the AAPI artist group showing April-June in the Lower Gallery, to be called “Together

with Art,” and featuring artists Glenna Yee, Gifford Yeoung, Sunila Bajracharya, Lorna Ho, and

3. If on Zoom, during the public comment portion of the agenda item, select the "Raise Hand" option or *9 if using a phone.

Please be advised that those participating in the meeting remotely via Zoom do so at their own risk. The Heritage & Arts Commission meeting will not be cancelled if any technical problems arise during the meeting.
