Visitors are always welcome, and public comments are encouraged. Those wishing to address the Board on items not on the agenda may do so under " Public Comments to Address the Board of Trustees." Please secure a Speaker Card from the executive assistant. In accordance with Education Code 35145.5, the Board cannot enter into a formal discussion or make a decision on any matter not on the agenda. The Board may refer any subject discussed to the Superintendent for follow up.

In accordance with requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act and related federal regulations, individuals who require special accommodation, including but not limited to an American Sign Language interpreter, accessible seating or documentation in accessible formats, should contact the Superintendent's office at least three days before the meeting date. This will enable the District to make reasonable arrangement to ensure accessibility to the Board meeting and to provide any required accommodations, auxiliary aids or services .

A complete agenda packet is available at the District Office, 1800 Solar Drive, Oxnard, California, Monday through Wednesday prior to a regularly scheduled Board meeting. Board agendas and minutes are available on the district's website at www.oxnardunion.org . Minutes can be made available, upon request, in another language. A student's parent/guardian, or a student aged 18 and older, may request in writing that their personal directory information (EC 49061) be excluded from the minutes of Board Meetings (EC 49073.2).

It is the recommendation of District Administration that the Board of Trustees approve the minutes of the May 11, 2022 Regular Board meeting, as presented.

5.

COMENTARIOS DEL PÚBLICO SOBRE TEMAS DE LA SESIÓN CERRADA Aquellas personas que deseen dirigirse a la Junta pueden hacerlo en este momento y se les solicita que completen una Tarjeta de Orador. Todos los comentarios públicos deben dirigirse al presidente de la Junta. Los oradores individuales tendrán tres (3) minutos para dirigirse a la Junta en cada tema de la agenda o que no sea de la agenda. Sin embargo, en circunstancias excepcionales, cuando sea necesario para garantizar la oportunidad total de participación del público, el presidente puede, con el consentimiento de la Junta, ajustar la cantidad de tiempo permitido para la participación del público y / o el tiempo asignado para cada orador.
