Mayor Banales called the regular meeting to order at 7:04 P.M. in the Council Chamber

at City Hall, 65 Civic Avenue Pittsburg, CA after having convened at 5:40 P.M. for a Special

Meeting for Commission Interviews.

ROLL CALL

Member Lopez was absent and excused.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

Mayor Banales led the Pledge of Allegiance.

2\. Contra Costa County College – State of the District

3\. Draft 2024/2025 through 2028/2029 Five-Year Capital Improvement Program

CITY MANAGER REPORTS/REMARKS

City Manager Evans requested that item 13 on the consent calendar be pulled for

discussion amongst the City Council. He also noted that the City of Pittsburg would not be placing

a tax measure on the ballot in November. Lastly, he gave an update on the pool incident that was

mentioned during the public comment period at the August 5th City Council meeting.
