INTERVIEWS OF CANDIDATES FOR THE WALNUT CREEK APPOINTEE TO THE CONTRA COSTA LIBRARY COMMISSION

Following opening of the meeting and opportunity for public comment, the City Council interviewed the following candidates for appointment as the Walnut Creek Commissioner and as the Alternate to the Contra Costa County Library Commission: Joan Conley, Catherine Leutzinger, Diane C. Mader, Michelle Mellon, Lynn A. Meisch, and Robin Kokemor Rangel. The Council balloted and took action on the appointment to the commission.

Motion by Mayor Pro Tem Skrel, second by Councilmember Abrams, carried unanimously , appoint Michelle Mellon as the Commissioner and Lynn A. Meisch as Alternate to the Contra Costa County Library Commission for two-year terms effective August 1, 2008.
