Business Office Updates Subject A. New Impact Fee Bank Account Meeting Aug 8, 2024 - Facilities & Business Operations Committee Meeting Category 6. Business Office Updates Type Information School District 95 receives payments known as impact fees for any new residence or expanded residence within the school district boundaries. Because these funds can only be utilized for certain expenditures, the Business Office is researching the creation of a bank account that would hold these funds separately from all other district funds. The financial institution the district would use for these funds would be selected from the list of current depositories approved by the School Board in June 2024. File Attachments Subject B. Food Service Provider Transition Update Meeting Aug 8, 2024 - Facilities & Business Operations Committee Meeting Category 6. Business Office Updates Type Information Whitsons Culinary Group (K-8 provider) and Quest Food Management Services (high school provider) have been working in collaboration with district representatives to prepare for new and exciting experiences in school cafeterias. New equipment is in the process of being delivered and installed, August menus have been posted, and both organizations have been working hard to fully staff each location. The Business Office will provide images of some of the serveries, as well as a demonstration of the new meal planner site that students and families can access, as planning progresses.
