DISCUSSION ITEMS Type Discussion Abstract Committee members are asked to provide feedback regarding the draft 2024 Annual Report and community-wide newsletter. Background One of the Parent, Community & School Partnership goals set for the 2024-25 school year is to Enhance public perception of the district within the community and beyond by implementing proactive and effective communications strategies, fostering transparent dialogue, developing positive marketing, showcasing achievements, and actively engaging with stakeholders (including area realtors) to continue to expand and build trusting relationships. Two initiatives connected to this goal include: the development of a District Annual Report; and the distribution of a community-wide newsletter Request The Committee is asked to provide feedback related to the content and layout of the attached drafted District Annual Report and Community-Wide Newsletter. Considerations Our District is working with Lake County GIS mapping to gather community-wide mailing addresses. We estimate approximately 14,000 mailings for the community-wide newletter. The Annual Report will be distributed in print to local elected officials, business owners, and local relators. An electronic version will be distributed to all RLAS-116 families, posted to social media, and placed on the district's website. Connection to Strategic Plan Parent, Community & School Partnerships Potential Cost Breakdown & Funding Source Printing and mailing costs will be funded via local funds.
