1 MINUTES SPECIAL CALLED MEETING OF THE PERRY CITY COUNCIL Date: Location: April 9, 2026, 4:00 p.m. Administration Building Second Floor Conference Room 1211 Washington Street, Perry, GA 31069 Officials Present: Mayor Randall Walker Council Member Dr. Darryl Albritton Council Member Robert Jones Council Member Willie King Council Member James Moody Mayor Pro Tempore Dan Peterson Council Member Dr. Amy Fouse Staff: Robert Smith - City Manager Mitchell Worthington - Assistant City Manager Jenny Burdeshaw - Human Resources Director _____________________________________________________________________ 1. Call to Order: Mayor Randall Walker, Presiding Officer, called to order the special called meeting of the Perry City Council held April 9, 2026 at 4:15 p.m. 2. Roll: The above were in attendance for a quorum. 3. Items of Review/Discussion: 3.a Executive Session for the purpose of personnel - Mayor Walker. Mayor Walker entertained a motion to go into executive session for the purpose of personnel. 4. Executive Session (If required): Executive Session entered at 4:15 p.m.: Councilmember Dr. Fouse moved to adjourn the special called meeting and enter into executive session for the

2 purpose of personnel. Councilmember Jones seconded the motion and it carried unanimously. Executive Session adjourned at 6:37 p.m.; Council's special called meeting reconvened. Council adjourned the executive session held April 9, 2026, and reconvened into the special called meeting. 5. Action After Executive Session (As needed): Adopted Resolution No. 2026-26 stated the purpose of the executive session held was to discuss personnel. Councilmember Dr. Albritton moved to adopt a resolution stating the purpose of the executive session held April 9, 2026 was to discuss personnel; Councilmember Dr. Fouse seconded the motion and it carried unanimously. No action was taken in the special called meeting. (Resolution No. 2026-26 has been entered into the City's official book of record.) 6. Adjournment: There being no further business to come before Council in the special called meeting held April 9, 2026, Councilmember Moody motioned to adjourn the meeting at 6:52 p.m. Councilmember Dr. Albritton seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.
