The City Clerk provides a multilingual glossary defining eleven common City Council terms and procedures in multiple languages. The document explains key concepts ranging from council roles like Council President to legislative instruments like ordinances and resolutions. Residents can also contact the City Clerk's office to suggest additional glossary terms.

Why it matters

The glossary establishes standardized definitions for local legislative proceedings across seven languages, affecting how non-English speaking residents understand City Council operations and terminology.
