Planning and Zoning Commission Regular Meeting May 7, 2025 Page 1 of 3 The Planning and Zoning Commission (P&Z) of the City of Titusville, Florida met in regular session in City Hall Council Chamber located at 555 South Washington Avenue on Wednesday May 7, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. XXX Chairman Dan Aton called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Present were Vice Chairman Christopher Childs, Secretary Romie Grant, Member John Scully, Member Janay Gelin, Member Erron Fayson and Member Theodore Garrod. Alternate Member John Rogers and Alternate Member Michael Fendler were absent. Also, in attendance were Principal Planner Eddy Galindo, Assistant City Attorney Chelsea Farrell and Recording Secretary Laurie Dargie. XXX Vice Chairman Childs made a motion to approve the minutes from the April 16, 2025 meeting as presented. Member Gelin seconded. There was a unanimous voice vote in favor. XXX Quasi-Judicial Confirmation Procedures XXX Petitions and Requests from the Public Present None XXX Old Business None XXX New Business Expediated Residential Building Permits in Subdivisions Ordinance No. 14-2025 Principal Planner Eddy Galindo gave an overview of this item. The Planning & Zoning Commission had discussion. Member Garrod asked that staff review Section 34-144 of the Ordinance for potential strike through of the words “sketch” and “preliminary”. XXX

XXX Sidewalk Waiver Ordinance Principal Planner Eddy Galindo gave an overview of this item. The Planning & Zoning Commission had discussion. XXX Member Garrod made a motion to recommend approval of the Sidewalk Waiver Ordinance as presented. Member Fayson seconded. Planning and Zoning Commission Regular Meeting May 7, 2025 Page 3 of 3 Reports Principal Planner Eddy Galindo informed the Planning and Zoning Commission members that on June 4, 2025 at 5:00pm there will be a public workshop to discuss and get feedback on the City of Titusville’s Evaluation Appraisal Report (EAR). Chairman Aton said he will be unable to attend the May 21, 2025 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting. XXX Adjournment 6:48pm
