At this time, I will transfer the gavel back to CHAIRMAN Show and I will Organization of the school board. NOVEMBER 14th, 2023 moving a number for approval of times and days for regular meetings. I believe. >> Someone MAY have a thought on. A day or time that that was I look, I went through, you know, remember last year we had. Maybe 2 years ago election we had to move to a morning. I want to make sure I didn't see anything like that NOVEMBER 19. The next is not Thanksgiving Week, which is nice. We had that a couple years ago. I don't think it is the week of Thanksgiving. I thought I things week before it regardless we've got to do it doesn't matter. Any body else. See anything from the dates. I look at the 16 that is not Martin Luther King. To Tuesday for the day after thought it was. But I look at Twenty-twenty 3. Anybody else. Any dates or comments? Yeah. >> Yeah. I actually West instead of MARCH. 12th, which would be the appropriate day. Can we move it to the 19th? I just had something that week and it would be very difficult for me to come on. The 12th. Is like to MISS A meeting? I like that. It's not during spring break. It's not a week before spring break, but I'm like I tell people I didn't even MISS A meeting when I had a baby. So I don't really want to MISS A meeting. But I I have a really hard time making it to that one on that. Well, so is asking that move is just one week later to the 93 only have one that month. So it really doesn't matter. Change a lot. >> I don't have a. Problem with that board. >> Okay. And then the other thing I wanted to point out was typically it's >> it's the second and 4th Tuesdays. But in AUGUST, it's actually the first Tuesday and maybe that's because the school. I think that's smart. I just wanted to point that out. It had that same issue. I think we had a board meeting with, but yeah, I think I like I'm not I'm not having a problem with makes a lot of sense. I just want to point out that that is a deviation from how we normally do things why we did it. Okay. Yeah. >> You MAY. And we MAY want to off to the right there just doing Asterix and say. Why could becomes honestly public record to me. That's why it's on the 6. If someone were ever to question, why did we do on the first to say that makes sense? It does we can. We can and and that is why we look at those dates to avoid having a board meeting on the second day on Sunday Valentine's Day. Which is good. My birthday, which is worth It is. >> It was Doctor Rice on I think in workshop they do have a paean making. That take banks am. The thing. The 19 3 org like. There's a reason why we do it. That we can't we do it on statute that, you we have all right. With the present only on the And got go that far. Yeah, lot like you're saying it's going to be like. Right up against Thanksgiving. Just makes it tough for everybody. In my opinion. You mean NOVEMBER? Yeah, NOVEMBER's from talk yeah, we have to do That's all you have to do so many I know after that. Election. Yeah. I was going to be my point. Is that yeah, it's an election year that's going to have there's really not much we weigh years. >> I think a good time. I think it doesn't have to be at 5 o'clock. I think that it's a normal 5 o'clock meeting time anyway. So >> it says on here, it's scheduled is scheduled for 10. That's right. So 10:00am. >> Which is odd because we did ours in the evening >> I would say so. That's another thing. So we rated this this despite today's meeting right, that we did the typically re organs of 4 was scheduled to reopen his bus schedule before the actual meeting today. Am I in? So we flipped it. And so we did regular meeting which we will have another one of the 19th right? We have a right. We'll have a regular meeting. Plus the Re org. That's what I think fall. So you come in NOVEMBER 19, it's only going to York. Got okay. We do to it? But taking him put that. >> Day over to the left of this As a and said that you asked, right. Because at the 12 Dash 9 12 common, 19. >> That's I mean, I don't think that matter. To me a look at that. As thought that entice scroll down. Yeah. >> Anything else from anybody about these meetings? Dates encounters. >> All right. We do have to vote on that. I don't know if you still have grandkids up with that or but just got will good vote to avoid is one thing. So all in favor of approval of the Times a day for the regular meetings for 23. 24 razor and say aye. >> On But there hasn't side jump. The gun. >> But I just want to ask I want I making the motion, but I just wanted to be as amended right with through our discussion where it will be MARCH 19th to the tools. So I will move that we approve 2023 2024 meeting calendar dates as amended. Second second. >> By any other for the discussions. I going to vote on the approval of times and days for the meetings as amended. Say I. All passes 5, 0, Item. Number 5 is a board committee assignment. Discussion only because will vote on this in DECEMBER anybody. Wanting to Messenger in the one committee. Anybody else wanting to get out of remove any committees or change any committees any major desires. Ms Foreman. >> I just want to point out that Environmental Lands Management, which is on first one on page 2. County's lax who it is and the requirement for that seat is only someone who works in the school district. So in the past it has been a board member, but voted me down just like you guys did. >> feelings are hurt that. But I But we serving on the illness. >> Oh, that's right. Okay. Yes. Remove that. Yeah. You've got that. MISS Cox, thank Anybody else have desire to move change that coast. Page. Backside too. I what live for that door. We're gonna response. Never got a response from governor's Ponce. Very fill that seat. So I have not served on that. Committee, but I have been serving on it was that to the mpo on here, right? It was. How'd it added later on? Right? At Mpo on here. Raise the designation. Right? And that's the meaning running off understanding for >> Yeah. The so then it actually lcb a local >> and helps serve the homeless. That's what transportation's >> Ms Cox, can you reach out to Suncoast or to step up and see? We saw that the representative or nod or thank you. Thank you. >> If we do here, you want to probably not. My place pretty full right now with boards that don't go through the district. >> Bring it back and we feel it if they don't. My something, they don't need it yeah, there we go. Back to Anybody else within the suggestions on changes or something they like to do. >> So looks like discussion is done with that particular item. Like I said, we won't vote on that until so.
