Call meeting to orderA.
Chairman Roy called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m.

Secretary Huerta called the roll and said a quorum was present to conduct the meeting.
Staff members present: Presiding Judge Jackie Chapa, City Secretary Rebecca Huerta,
Deputy City Manager Michael Rodriguez, Human Resources Director Rebecca Castillo,
Deputy City Attorney Buck Brice, Assistant City Secretary Stephanie Box, and Executive
Management Assistant Will Durham.

Chairman Roy called for public comment. There were no comments.
Approval of minutesD.
1. 25-0438 Approval of the March 20, 2025 meeting minutes
Council Member Carolyn Vaughn moved to approve the minutes, seconded by Council
Member Eric Cantu. The motion passed.
Executive Session:E.
2. 25-0439 Executive Session pursuant to Texas Government Code § 551.071 and Texas
Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct Rule 1.05 to consult with attorneys
concerning legal issues related to appointment, employment, evaluation,
reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of all Municipal Court Judges and
Texas Government Code § 551.074 (Personnel Matters) to deliberate the
appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal
of all Municipal Court Judges with possible discussion and action in open session.
