Hernando School District School Board Informal Meeting Minutes - Final 1:00 PM District Office-Board Room 919 N. Broad Street Brooksville, FL Tuesday, February 28, 2023 CALL TO ORDER Board Chair Gus Guadagnino Vice Chair Susan Duval Present Board Member Mark Johnson Board Member Linda Prescott Board Member Shannon Rodriguez Absent The Informal Meeting was called to order at 1:03 P.M. Also present were Dennis Alfonso, School Board Attorney and John Stratton, Superintendent. GENERAL DISCUSSION An informal meeting of the School Board has been scheduled for general discussion among Board Members on Educational Matters Topics of Discussion: 1. Gus Guadagnino - College Night 2. Susan Duval - Instructional Transfers 3. Susan Duval - Impact Fees 4. John Stratton - Rezoning Committee: Mr. Stratton will need two (2) names from each board member to serve on the committee. 5. Dennis Alfonso - Juul Litigation Update - Mr. Alfonso will need to schedule a closed session for a Juul litigation update. It was decided that they will start the March 28th Informal Meeting at 12:30 P.M. Mr. Alfonso will communicate the details with outside counsel.
