Due to the significant cost associated with extending the public water main to serve a single-family residence, the applicant respectfully requests approval to utilize a private potable well as the primary water source for the property in lieu of extending the public water system. The proposed well will be permitted and installed in accordance with all applicable Marion County, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and Water Management District requirements.
