City Councilmember Proven Leadership Delivering Results As parents of two young children, my wife and I understand the challenges San Diego families face — rising costs for groceries, utilities, and housing. On the City Council, I’ve focused on practical leadership that strengthens fiscal accountability, expands housing opportunities, and delivers real improvements across our neighborhoods. First-Term Accomplishments • Repaved more than 95 miles of neighborhood streets, including the reconstruction of Gold Coast Drive • Delivered more than $70 million in neighborhood investments across our district, including Marcy Park improvements in University City; a new Aquatic Center, All-Wheels Park, and recreation center upgrades at Mira Mesa Community Park; the Epicentre Youth Center revitalization through a City–County partnership; and the Convoy District gateway sign • Led budget efforts that restored library and recreation center hours, preserved arts funding, and expanded housing opportunities for working families Focused on Results • Responsible fiscal leadership and government accountability • Expanding housing opportunities for working families • Investing in safer neighborhoods and better streets, parks, and libraries Endorsed by: • Congressmembers Sara Jacobs and Scott Peters • County Supervisor Terra Lawson-Remer • Assemblymember Chris Ward • San Diego & Imperial Counties Labor Council • San Diego Firefighters Local 145 • San Diego Police Officers Association • San Diego Unified Trustees Sabrina Bazzo, Cody Petterson, and Shana Hazan www.kentleeforsd.com
