How to register in New Hampshire
The channels this state runs, the cutoff rule for each one, and the official page that does it.
Three ways to register
Each cutoff below is New Hampshire's own rule, counted back from Election Day - not a date. The date it lands on depends on the election, so confirm it for yours on New Hampshire's registration page.
Same-day registration: you can still register in person through Election Day.
New Hampshire accepts a mailed registration only in special circumstances, for example, if you are temporarily out of town or a disability prevents you from applying in person. Ask your city or town clerk for the application.
