Sarasota man charged with murder of girlfriend and son
Nicholas Novickis, 34, was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree murder after the deaths of his girlfriend and 6-year-old son at a home in the Artistry community. The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office reported that Novickis was taken into custody at the scene on Saturday morning.
