Florida House proposes $6 million for new statewide criminal intelligence platform

The Florida House of Representatives has proposed a $6 million budget allocation to develop a new statewide criminal intelligence platform. This proposal follows a previous legislative session where a bill to establish a dedicated counterintelligence and counterterrorism unit within the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) failed to pass.
