Former employee arrested for allegedly stealing 30 iPads worth $12,400 from Sweetwater warehouse, police say

Police arrested 43-year-old Ariel Galindo on Wednesday following a Sept. 4 burglary at a Sweetwater warehouse where approximately 30 iPads valued at $12,400 were stolen. Investigators state Galindo had been fired from the company earlier that same day for failing to show up for work and was identified by a former co-worker via surveillance footage and physical appearance. He now faces charges of burglary of an unoccupied structure and third-degree grand theft.
