Good morning, Good. I'm good. Thank you. >> Well, first of all, we want to apologize because we don't have enough knowledge. all of is the first time understand. >> OK, let's work our way through this, OK? So we're going to get on the record here. On the record for city of Sarasota vs Orlando Rodriguez. Perez is case number 2026, 0, 0, 5, 8, 0, And for the record, sir, your name, please. >> Our land of the biggest. >> All right. our Rodriguez is with us. And ma'am, your name? >> I it Garcia. the first time R l pt Weiss. Garcia's lasting. >> And you're here mostly is because interpreter in a kind of the know his girlfriend? Okay. Here's ago. Okay. That's got that's good. All right. Procedures that we start with the City of Sarasota sell. Start with Mr. Spence and then I'll come right back to the 2 of you, OK? So Mr. Spence, whenever you're ready things all us. This is a new case for 2 violations. First one being. >> City code. Section 16 Dash 50 for an operable are unlicensed vehicles that was corrected with our inspection back on April, 25th of 2026. And then the final one being Florida building code 105, 0.1 per month. >> Where there's a fence that was installed without a permit. Please report that as our inspection of August, 11th, the property is now fully in compliance. >> OK, so do you heard Mr? Spence, he indicated the violations were corrected to August. 11th for 1, 0, 5, 1, in 16, 50 for April. 25th with their inspection, guess year agreement with that. I will let me just fine for the record than that Florida building Code section 105, 0.1 was correct. In 8/11/2026, 16, 50 the city code was corrected 4/25/2026. So at this point, go to the issue, fines and costs, Mr. Spence, the city have a recommendation on this issue. >> What are your honor? We do have a potential civil find that accrued from April 24th of 2026 to August 10 to 26 for 109 days at $100 a day bringing the potential civil fine $10,900 with 3 inspections of $390. This is not going to asking for any of that civil fine tune. The their response definitely were pretty tentative. Get everything taken care once they became aware. But we would like to recoup the city's cost $390 of the taxpayers bear the burden of this process. All right. Do you understand, Mr. Spence recommendation of potential fine was 10,900, but they're not asking for any fine, but they are asking for costs for this process of 3 90's. >> That worked for the 2 of you. Okay. Let's go with that. And I will impose a fine and just cost of 3.90, nothing of a Kate in this case. Listen. Have a good day. Thank you for coming to a patient. Thank you. Thank you. All right. Thank you. Thank you. Bye. wait. Yes, you have a question. >> Sure. So this is closed. The cases that were the case close. Yeah, you you can. If you want figure out how to take care that the cost of the things can tell you the back out to do OK, thank Appreciate Thank you. >> All right. We're on record for kids. Case of City of Sarasota vs. >> Daniel Weisenberg Russell Weisenberg, Maryland Weisenberg and this is case number 2026, 0, 0, 0, 5, 3, and for the record, I believe we have Maryland Weisenberg correct. Okay. I was was Berg procedure always start with the city's officer with Mr. Spence and well in the city's position on this. And then I'll come right back to get your position. Okay, Mr. Spence, whatever your race or tell us, this is a continue case. We have for a violation of our Florida building code. One of 5.1. >> Permits required where there's multiple structures and work them without a permit. We do have an after the fact permit applied for. But there is some comments that need to be answered through the building department. According to our notes, it looks like the application is missing plans for the outdoor kitchen pergola shed and second carport. And so the so as we're ready to get her contractor involved to have those plans drawn up and added to. The existing plans already there with their trans middle. But I'll defer to her relation to where that stands. And when get those turned in. All right. was for you. If I understand what meant to there. >> I did. And I got the letter just yesterday from the city. So I was able to read to that and >> called them and they said to make an appointment down there to go down and resolve each one. Some of these make sense. Some of them don't Bs for some letters on gas and all this. I don't even have gas. then several other things. But yes, that is exactly where we're at. I'm just requests I'm snow. Birds like keep flying in for these meetings. But I just wonder if I can have a time to my telephone interviews. You okay when we can do that because I what I will do is one by one. I'm going to try to get with the city, go through these one by one. Get the things that they need exactly like things like the hot tub. I called my heart to come. they said never in Sarasota. Have we ever got permit? So they said, I don't know if they're so I think there's a couple things on here that the city will just say, OK, forget this, but there are some things that are valid. So I'll get with the city and then we can do another one and hopefully we can do that over the phone. So I don't have to come back again. You could divide fact. I had my doctor to appear by telephone to. >> You did. What about you must fill out some paperwork for that. So you can certainly do that. So many have about. I mean, I I think this was going to take another 4 to 6 weeks trying to get all these letters. So I'm thinking if we can push this back till then, all right. Maybe pushed out 45 days. You have it it is. Couple that lot of work to the process is obviously the review process is going to take some time, but it's all after the fact. So once. >> Firms issue, that progress that would push us to October 8th. Okay, let's do that. That would be great. >> And what I know to do early morning that 30 think time is nice. Yes, do that are as All promise work on these one by one and get them resolved and players. >> Great. Thank you. Yeah, we'll continue that. 10/8/2026 08:30AM, find a violation continuing one 5.1. And this was good luck with us. We'll see you then. Thank you. Take care. All right. We're going to go on record for city of Sarasota versus Georgia, Peru, Arevalo coach Rusty, the Georgian. Yeah. Arevalo revocable trusts. And this is case number 2026, 0, 0, 5, 1, 4, And sir, your name, your George RR of OK, you've been here before seen. I know. You know, the process will all start with Mr. Spence for the city today. Come right back Mr. Spence, whenever you're ready. And just results. This new case for for violations, first of which is secret section 16 Dash 47. >> The commission just rubbish and trash next to stand or housing code 307, 0.4, which is where care premise us and the final 2, which are 30 dash, 17 30 Dash 10, which pertain to doing work within the city's right of way. >> Without a permit, we do have a, you know, permit applied for. But there is some pending corrections that were sent out back in March of this year. >> So those who need to be answered prior you know, and being issued as well as we do see some good progress being made on the trash where there's still some just scattered items that we need to be collected up. So defer to Mister of and relation when he thinking everything taken care of and we can move forward. I let me go to you at this point get your response. You. >> Yeah. So as far as any any overgrowth, anything like that? That's all been completely handle completing care of because drive-by today take a look and look pristine as far as the driveway situation. We're currently still on that. So we're working on the permits. There was a switch. So might the tenant that lives on the property. He's of paper contracted vs Beat. You know, can I do this? that parents find on to come that your body? That's really fun. But I didn't know. I wasn't aware that, you know, that require a permit. And so he was aware as well, at least in because you worked in the county that apparently apparently they're required. And so on. We applied for the permit he's working with the GC right now to try get this issue resolved. I was actually on the phone to just little bit ago. And so they're making progress. It's really up to the city right now because it's the between the back and forth between the GC in the city. And so that's kind of where we're at right now. Okay. So hopefully it uses providing information they're requesting. That's correct. He should be. Any questions, Mr. Spence. >> Not this You know, as of right now, we don't see transmittal. So make sure that there is any channels and replaced in their head that you see of the city, as you mentioned. And you mentioned your tenant is, you know, the paper contractor and all that. We did see some papers are displaced around. I was asking anything of that nature stored properly that way. No one views trashes are driving by just. Eliminate any confusion zone as looks like you guys admission, good progress. Just anything that can be stored properly away. Just asked to do that. So with that said we're probably looking to push us out 30 to 45 days. Get some progress update from that point, which would put us right around October. 1st, what that? There's the time. >> And you do mornings or afternoons morning We relegated you May. 31, let's all do our country. The case out 10/1/2026 at 08:30AM, for the violations. Continuing is cited. >> At this point and so we'll see you then. Thank you. Appreciate thank you. All right. We'll go on record for city of Sarasota versus Stafford Springs just after the 3rd Wayne in Stafford case number 2026, 0, 0, 8, 3, 9, for the record. No one's here on behalf of the respondents. So Mr. Spence cities, the position on this case, there are cells. This is a new case for a violation of our city code. Section 16 Dash 50. >> For another war on license vehicles on the property. As of right now, as you can see on the screen, the property SOS remains out of compliance with the vehicle still being in disrepair. flat tires. I was hoping that someone to be in attendance today speaking on behalf of where things stand and where where vehicle removed or possibly repaired. With that said, we do have a affidavit created by the inspector. With an initial inspection of April 10 to 2026. Notice Melt on April 14th. Notice Survival 20 via Certified Mail compliance that complies with set for April. 21st, the 2026 of the proper main out of compliance and civil fine currently running from April 22nd of 2026 to August 19th for 120 days $100 a day bringing the civil fine to be $12,000.3. inspections of 3.90, from a into that. And as exhibit number one, as well as exhibits to 3, 4, for notice that hearing, oh, come on, Mitt 1, 2, 3, 4, And based on the affidavit fighters ongoing violations, 16, 50 the city code impose a >> civil fine to date of $12,000. Costa de of 3.90, will be imposed as well. Also $100 per day daily running find to a violation is corrected on the cape. The respondents are required to attend the next hearing and what's are available time. Yes. >> are looking at. September 17th one, 15. All right. Into the case up to September, 17th at one 15 pm. >> And that'll take us off the record. The record for a city of Sarasota versus Carlos. You can see it's case number 2026, 0, 0, 5, 0, 0, for the record, mister. he's not Sir. Your name, please. My name's Gary sour Iran. There. >> Say you ER as they you are. All right. procedure, Mr. Sour into it. Technically you're not the responded to Davis. Yancey is, but you're you're here that will help him. Probably. >> So we'll start with the city manager, Mister Spence out. Come right back to you. OK, Mr. Spence, whenever you're ready. >> There are cells. This is a new case for 3 violations. First one as Florida building code one of from Why or where? There are some windows citing inflation do a permanent police. Part of that one corrected with our inspection of August 14. Next is a violation of the Florida building code. One of 5.1 permits require where there's a fence. Those down without a permit. Don't we do not see any fence application permit applications. And as of our inspection this week and then finally is standard housing code violation 3, a 7.4 for care premises where there was a discarded jet ski and the front yard. We do see some progress and that is it was cut up and placed in the back of the pickup Looks at appears that will be removed that we would still consider that a compliance until it is officially removed from the property. But I would imagine that's going to be relatively quick to fix, but I'll defer to Mr. Sour of when you think get that removed as well as have Mister Yancey apply for that fence permit. Alright, so go to you. Now. It done. might regret now fixing to go to a dumpster. >> you know, it was a room use Roddick decider, building. So I'm moving side of the road. I had to go to the hospital. I had grow on now. Do I manage to lose? So now I'm getting back up. Moving around. And since then we cleaned all. had somebody to clean it for me and it. >> So you see all these can be left to be done. chance is going to have to well that permit. I would assume so. The year he talked to about it for the fence. >> We talked at one time a long time ago that I thought it. >> I don't know what you had nothing to do with offense. He's that he did. know. I don't have Is. Yes is on as we get the you might pass along to him. There's is fence issue going on in risk. code enforcement cases going on. So he knows got he's the really want us exposed. You're financially because his name is on the the respondent. You're not so you may want to pass that along to him. So you're doing what you can to help them out. I you had done everything as far as my just for the record on this one. A one oath. 5.1 is applies. The windows siding if they should is I understand correct August 14th, the fence installed out of permit is continuing one of 5.1. And your 7.4 is the jet skis. Almost. It's continuing technically, but you're right on top of that. So all right. Let's figure got time to bring the case back in. Yes, we're looking at Thursday, September 24th. >> At 8.30. During the case back the September 24th at 8.30. Okay. noticed by me? So do September 24th at 08:30AM. >> And so we'll see. You are and hopefully miss. You can see here that on that day, you might pass along the fence issue to him. >> Okay. Yeah. That's why there are. Thank Thanks for coming to appreciate it. Thank you. Thank you. >> I will go on record for city of Sarasota versus Queen. Major case number 2026, 0, 0, 0, 8, 0, no one's here behalf of Queen majors. So whats the city's position on this case. >> Things are so is this is a continued case. You had for a violation, numerous violations of standard and say building in code 3, 1.4 and I am pleased to report that with our inspection July 29th, the property is now in compliance with the demolition of the property. >> I will find that all the violations are have been corrected as of July. 29th is cited in the case. >> Because to the issue, fines and costs, I know there's a big find its recruiting this. What I believe there. >> Yes, your honor. We do have me after created by the inspector. An assessment today of $17,600. And then a continuation of that civil fine from May. 15th, the 2026 to July. 28% 5 days. 100 $1 a day during that portion, the $7,500 and creating a new civil fine to be $25,100 with 5 assessed Costa date of 1300, $5. 2 additional 150 as and that during that portion out of the $1455. And then we had a city authorize demo of $9,442. And $0.69 bring in the new cost inspections to be $10,897.69. And if I may answer that in his exhibit, number 3, as well as exhibits number 4 from Eisenman Construction incorporated for the demolition of the property. admit 3, 4, And you asked me impose the fines. As for correct. >> So go ahead. And big move a kit. The prior orders. To unify this into and pose a civil fine to get hosed. 25,100 for the fine in total cost appear to be $10,897 and $0.69, which I'll impose. And are corrected. So that will close this case. All right. First one is for an renovation that was done without a permit. And then the final one is for a fence that was installed without a permit. We do see some applications turned in the interior renovation. One had some comments that were sent out on August. 3rd and then the fence had some comments that were sent down on July 17. So just need some answers to those comments before the permit. Can progress. So the or like you're back in relation to ensure they get those comments turned So the king of the permits moving forward. Okay. Maybe I'll go to you and get your response there. >> Okay. So I did hire a contracting company that specializes after the fact permitting. So I am. Staying up to date with them. So the last that I knew that the fence was the last thing in regard that they that you were asking questions for. And I did submit that about 2 weeks ago. I submitted them Now I was here. It is 4 PT permits. there contracting company that I'm working >> our inspection this week, we're not seeing any trans mills from them better than turned in turn it to your contractor. Forges week ago, said we're comments for the fence permit that were sent out on July 17th and we haven't received anything anything since then as well. As for the interior and a vision. We had comments and out on August 3rd and there is no comment sent from direct. >> Okay. I they did send me this to bring in which is a signed and sealed plans by a licensed professional. They get it up to compliance. I don't know if you would like them. >> reason more so for the across the street and second floor for the building department that way, you can turn that into that we hopefully maybe that's all the answers that they'll have for these permits. We could move forward from there. >> Okay. I appreciate >> All right. Well, let's let's just find a new date and bring the case back to let you work yourself through the process or with your contractor. The offense that is in disrepair, all of those storm and out of compliance as our inspection this week, we do not see any for the addition as well. As for the roof or offense in disrepair as well as we have the over of that is still in the rear of the property so that the Duran Webster, Malaysian to when she thinks you get these violations corrected as well as just get the ball rolling on a permit to permit these additions and repairs. And will push to a push that this case out for you. So about the other case here with our situation. But but clarify the situations relation to we have in incident, especially that we haven't seen any information that she I was that we haven't seen yet. >> I believe there's factors or allow her to do the long term rentals in a month a month, you know, which would involve or this or this this code. But anything I believe under 30 days would still require the registration. So as of right now, especially as we've been still classified as a, you know, out of compliance. For the for second just goes. So she's averages for 28 days. >> The coat kicks and she needs to do inspections to to get get the license to do it right. So you understand, which is that what? So if you're if you advertise for a occupancy, less than 30 days to The board is kicks in place. So I think the only thing is remaining is that whenever you're try to do it, do it with under this process, you have to have an inspection of the premises. So it seems like that needs to be done. completed its own right. Is that right? Yes. >> RB R B o and that that's the one that I send the picture for. Its not updating that. I can show you from my own our view, you want. >> I know that I so just so it's clear. >> All right. We're going to go on record for code compliance. Special magistrate hearings. Today's date is 8/20/2026 first case on the docket today is a city of Sarasota versus the D and K Cirrus LLC. >> case number 2026, 0, 0, 5, 3, 0, And gentlemen, I think some 8 and your name, Sir, Gunnery. It's your E was the last time. >> The other P tu vs. >> All right, sir. And sir, your name again. Please deck lever DEC K he's the ER. Okay. Very good job in. All right. Thank you. >> You were here before us. I know. You know, the procedure always start with the city of Sarasota, Mr. Spence's in today for the city settled well on the city's position. And I'll come right back to get your Mr. Spence, whenever you're ready themselves, this is actually a new case for a violation of our Florida building code. One of 5.1 permits for. >> Wired. There is an interior innovation that was done without a permit. I am please report. We do have an after the fact permit issued as of May 22nd, but we do not have any inspections called in yet. So I defer Mr. De Clever Mr. My thought is that Putin out and relation to time from when they get the inspections called in. All Who wants to respond here in terms of the getting the inspections going with the situation that we when we get job hired now we have to all our inspection first >> he's plumber. do the inspection wasn't licensed in the city? He was when the city will have to get pump the plumber. He was there on Tuesday. It spends the House and we pass everything. And now he U.S. report and we're in the Trump glow to the city in schedules. A final inspection for the next week. This is a plant. Alright, consistent with the understands, OK, went on final part of looking to push us out 30 to 45 days along and work through that process and everything shop. So if I just put it >> finalize this. Maybe 30, 45 days out. You'll be they could be ready to go even though we should be ready next to I hope return next close to 30. Then it sounds like they're confident their about their so. >> And if we final close the permit earlier, do have to come to hear a sudden you come back. We have the issue, fines and costs. And I like to hear from the city and the responded on that issue year. That will push us out to September 24th or worse. Every gentleman. Yes. And you understand time 8.30, work surface. All right. All continue out this case out the 9/24/2026 at 08:30AM. Why the violation 105, 0.1 continue at this point. >> Jim, we'll see you then. Doubling or app it up when you come back. OK, thank you. Thank you very much for time. A good day. >> Lows Maryland Weisenberg. >> Yeah. 5 white art. I I'm just parking. You want me to come I didn't know you're coming to the hearing in >> We'll continue right. We had schedule appear by telephone to come on and we'll go ahead and wait for you, OK? >> Come on here that what did you Come on, come on in for your hearing. >> Come on. And is part yet? Parking? Come in. >> man is be there in 5 minutes. I'll be in. >> Very good. Thank you. We're gonna go on record for city of Sarasota versus but Patricia Basher case number 2025, 0, 0, 3, 5, 3, for the record. There must be cement stipulation of this. >> Yes, your Walker and can. So reached out saying that there is a death in the family and they wish for a 60 day continuance and the city was perfectly fine with that. We're going to push it out to October. 29 at 09:00AM. >> I will cut it out. October 29th at 09:00AM. And take us off the record on on this case is record of this 2025, 0, 0, 3, 5, 3, >> morning. All right. Way to go next to City of Sarasota versus Jennifer. it or lick got COVID could be accurate. All right. OK, is case number 2026, 0, 0, 3, 6, 7, And you Jennifer. He could a cave are very good night procedurally. You haven't been here before. So all this is we start with the City of Sarasota with Mr. Spence today, then I'll come right back to get your response. Mr. Spence, whatever your race or >> tell This is a continuous you had for 2 violations, both of which are violations of our Florida building code. One of 5.1 permits required. I didn't know the hearing was rescheduled for today. So when I came 2 weeks ago, I didn't get that from. The other building here. And then I submitted it to you. It is 4 PT permits. there contracting company that I'm working >> our inspection this week, we're not seeing any trans mills from them better than turned in turn it to your contractor. But they haven't officially turned into the city yet. So makes you stay on them to ensure that they're progressing. And yeah, okay. >> At their mercy. >> understand we're looking at a little past 30 days, just getting status update from there which could push us to October. 1st of that works. >> Sure. G do it always on Thursday. Always a Thursday. Yes. Okay. Whatever day's best. >> And the earliest time have on October. First is 10. 45 that we have a pretty open afternoon if that works best for you. >> 25 okay. >> That's well look into the case out to October. First 2026 10:45AM. for the violations continuing 105. Both violations want to 5.1. all right. Well, hopefully you can get with them, can get push them along to get there. Applications in would wrap it up when you come back. I agree, OK? Thank Have a good day. Take care. Thank you. Have most with. Thank Thank you. All right. We're going to go to City of Sarasota versus Steven, Robert Rasmussen, memory of Kristina Rasmussen and the last name change somewhere down the line. The loss of case number 2026, 0, 0, 5, 7, 3, So for the record, your name for the record, please. Barbara brings. And I'm a relative. Okay. got it. All right.
