APPLICATION REVIEW(S) The purpose of the Development Review Committee (DRC) is to ensure a development project is reviewed by each of the City's development-related departments for compliance with the City's various codes and policies. It is the goal of the DRC to provide this service in a timely and feasible manner. The result of the DRC review is a recommendation for either approval, along with any recommended conditions of approval, or denial of the proposed project to the City's decision authority for the particular application. The decision authority may be the Community Development Director, Planning Commission, or City Council depending on the type of application(s) being reviewed. The departments participating in the DRC include Planning, Building & Safety, Engineering, Fire, Public Works, and Police.
