The city is not asking for all of that. 33,000 really asking for a one-day find of $100 and then the city to recoup its costs of $765. So the taxpayer doesn't bear the burden. >> All right. So you understand committee's recommendation? >> I believe says in its recommending up one day find $100 cost 76. 65 for the process. Got okay. North reasonable to me as well. Salt. Go with that. We do have an application that was made back in March of this year. We recently received a trans middle on June. The 24th. So they are it's waiting for review. So what they are making progress. But I was kind of hoping somebody would be here today to kind of give us some guidelines on how much longer mean if they're thinking, but with that would be comfortable pushing it out. Maybe 30 days. 45 days to give them an opportunity to get that permit issued. >> All right with that. So looking looking at. >> August, the 13th. At 11, 15. >> Into the case out August 13th 11:15AM, violation. 5, continue route. Last order. And that'll pick us off the record for number 2. I will go on record for City of Sarasota. And then one of 5.1 of the Florida building code for electrical work that was done without a permit. We do have an application that was received back in March for the building permit. It was issued on June the 14th. So it looks like we just need a time line on how long Mr. Fisher thinks it's going to be to complete the permit process. All right, sir, go ahead. The permit up yesterday, it gets approved an already for inspection. >> OK, on. So son after the factor. Yeah. You need to call in the inspections. yeah. In fact, I was I. They needed one more document which would have been the electrical support. Or I could hadn't had inspection yesterday. I was trying to do that before the meeting, but it didn't quite happen. So where? I got the permit, we're just we just need to get the inspection. Getting permit. Is that something else that's out there, too? I think it's all It's all online one. Yeah. >> And there's ready to go to inspection of your inspection away from being done. Is that yeah. Our 2, 2 inspections, OK? Now? think what I need is electric final. And then and then probably the fence. And then the building flannel. So it's. You don't take. little bit. I guess. All right. Kelly, what do you think? 30 days on the 30 days should do it. But we just need to go out and verify that. So where maybe push it out a couple weeks a week and then close it out. If that works for Mister Lincoln. >> Yes, I got a call from my client or an e-mail from a client Tuesday morning saying that the contractor had finished pulling the pilings, but we missed contact back and forth. So my client did not get back to that code enforcement officer in time for him to go inspect before today. So if we continue it, I think the inspection will show compliance and we can close it. >> Weeks you think enough for 3 I mean, as long as you will need to go out and inspect because the work got done. Tuesday morning. Okay. >> So is it OK if Mr? Sweeney does Mr. Kim K need to contact, Mr. Sweeney to kind of it. he could, just the property is vacant. Okay. What's going on? You know, a week or 2 probably wouldn't be enough. But but biggest, 30 days of tension we will be working on. the meantime. >> All right. this county, has the city feel about a 30 day continuing? I think that's fine. Our dockets a pretty full anyway. So should be okay. >> Looking at August, the 13th at 11:30AM. that works for you, Mr. Howell. >> What the week is? always the Thursday, sir. That be just fine. Sure. August to 13, Yes, sir. They're very small. So I think there needs to be maybe an on-site just to discuss what the requirements you can see how small the tree is. They need to meet code so I just be looking to Mr. Lynch, to see if he he's willing to maybe have an on site are in yeah. The arborists to kind of get feel for what the code requires. >> That's something you will induce or you. All right. So our buses here. So can up time when before leave, just going win. Number 2026, 0, 0, 3, 8, 8, For the record. No one's here on behalf Respondent. So whats the city's position on this one. >> Well, this is to continue case that we have for violation of our city Zoning Code section 7, 107. For signs installed without a permit. It was a lull and a banner sign and then Section 7, 1, 10, 16 J for and a frame sign which is prohibited out on the circle. That remains in compliance as of our inspection on March, the first. So we just have that sign permit issue. We currently do not have any permit applications and this is our 4th hearing. So it's been ongoing for quite some time. So with that, we've prepared an updated affidavit. Mr. Spence off guard, by the way. >> And >> this is not against the property. The property owner. Okay. So the initial inspection was January, the 21st of 2026, the notice was mailed January. 26. The notice was served on January 31st by certified Mail compliance set for February. The 10th property is not current business is not currently in compliance. Civil fine began running on February 11 through July, the 14th. That's 154 days at $100 per day for $15,400 and then 6 inspections at $615. Cities asking that you enter this affidavit into evidence as exhibit number one and to impose the fines and costs >> I know that the affidavit to exhibit one base in the affidavit off and the violation of 7 to 107, continuing 7 went in 2016. Jays remain is was brought compliance on. On March. First on post a civil fine based on the affidavit, $15,400 to date 6.15, Acosta dates $100 per day daily and to a violation is corrected. On the Representatives required to attend the next hearing in what's available. >> We have August the 13th at 11. 45? >> You know, 13th 11:45AM. We are on record. And I'll come right back to you, OK, Mr. Kennedy, whenever you're ready. >> Thank you, Mr. Ellis, this is a new case today violation of our City Zoning Code section 7 Dash 107, 4 sign that was installed without a permit. We have an application that was submitted back on April. The first and we recently had a trans middle online July. The 12th. And I think it's still in review by our zoning division. So I just be looking at Mr. Cohen to see how that's going what kind of timeframe he's thinking for finishing the permit. >> I what what? What are you? What additional information we don't find allies of a minimum waiting, waiving them develop design firm this time. And they going have different, I don't Works, but I gave them a deposit. Then I have a few questions and then I don't know something that makes Then he gave me a deadline. I they before the deadline. He said that we have them. But I had a had journey speak him. But everything straight out now and we've got it. You don't company? Yes, it Your senses. yes, you're right. The they're prosecuting the weather should sounds like Kennedy's indicate they have lived there. >> says the nation's. So yes, what you're telling me is that sign paid for. And once the permit issue, they should just put it right. All right. Well, as give give that time, time to work itself out we're going 30 45 days, 30 days, you think can be enough time to get your sign permit issued in closed out. You think there's I have to do. The contractor should be doing it. Is that a contractor? So your contractor of drug that does it this week, you want do, is that your contractor make sure you get it done. >> You know, I'm sorry. But the reason I have to get attorney is. This guy started. Christen me on the phone. it's not really my style. I'm Well, you know, if he doesn't do it you know, maybe your attorney will step and maybe doesn't do I the only one that's again. They settle that in one out. And one fungal and the guys cursing me. Those. I don't understand what he say. You know I'm 71 of a little forgetful. It is what it All right. Well, as well just continue this out. All right. >> So how our next 8 for you to come back and hopefully it will be ready to close out August. The 13th. It's a Thursday. And this 11 45 work for you? But come back to do a comeback to close out the case. We have to wrap up the case once you're permits all done. So August, the 13th at 11. 45? >> That's me that so yeah, I just want look into the case out. 8/13/2026, 11:45AM. the violations 7, 1, 0, 7 is continuing at this point, Mr. Cohen I see today, thank you, guys. Thank Thank >> All right. With we're going to go on record for city of Sarasota versus Glencoe Properties Group Corp case number 2026, 0, 0, 4, 8, 4, >> In 2026 years. were 9 to the may be some resolution to this one. Some is candy with the city. position on these 2 cases. Yes, on these 2 cases, this property actually sold. >> So we're just looking to dismiss these 2 cases. And we've already started cases for the new owner. So just dismiss >> exposed to the sun, both of these cases and take us back off the record on those 2. We're going to go next. The city of Sarasota versus she would do alone is for us to the issue of loan. Trusted 12, 13, 2018 case. Number 2025. 0, 0, 1, 3, 3, for the record. She with Davis his present with us. And as you know, I would start with the Start with Miss Kennedy. come right back. This can whatever you're right. Thank you, Mr. Ellis >> this was a couple of violations for one of 5.1. And I think a permitted use violation. But the only thing that we have left is the overall permitting of the renovations that took place at the property. We did have a they have applied for a permit. We had a transmittal that was submitted on June, the 30th and it looks like it needs review for zoning and building corrections as well. So I just be looking to miss going to see how that process is working. >> can you offer here? Where are we in the application process? >> Would you mind telling me what is missing? >> It looks like there is a trans middle. Let's see he's going to pull it up for us. >> Because according to my general contracting, he has nothing has been posted since I think maybe. >> So, July the 6, this is from the building of the plans examiner and theirs. There's some comments that they need when might maybe maybe we can send This is this is not a FPA or in a way. I'm not sure what that means. be I have no idea. So might be a good idea if your contractor to give. Kevin Magnussen call and then also it says, please provide. Can you go up just? The other way? There's some other ones. There's some please provide certificates for the AC. So there's there's a couple different things that he's looking for. I can get this, I should be on the portal. I would think there was nothing on the Yeah, that they should be on the portal on. If you we can always send that to you. If you'd like e-mail. Appreciate it. Yes, after this. Just give me your e-mail on our email it to that's okay. And then zoning still has to review. So. >> I I just need to agree to when to bring this back. >> I think so. Yes. Another question is this with what's missing zoning? They're they're still reviewing it. So they have not finished their review. So once they review it, don't let you know if there's anything needed there. I had one question >> this affidavit that I was that I is that good? Because when I got everything taken care of and they told me and the record department that's already recorded. So I didn't need to send another letter. Are you want you guys want the letter? >> That might be something you need to ask permitting because it might be something they need for the permit. Zoning might need it. I don't know. Not Street second floor, right? What it you want to do is it just to me. It's it's on record. every everybody has need physically bring another one But I I I would stop over on the 3rd floor and ask for zoning in list to see if that's what they need because they might need that. All right. Let's be got time to bring it back. >> Let's go. 45 days. 6, you have to make the call. I will be here. Okay. vote the way the traveling. Okay. This. August, the 27th. That's a Thursday. As far as you know, it's okay right now. What time of day, according to your travels. >> So >> but afternoon, be better in the afternoon is but okay. Okay. We have a 3.15. If that works just to be sure. It's just calculate 6 hours ahead, 6 hours ahead. So you want something earlier than that? We're 6 hours ahead or where you're going, where I'm going 6 hours ahead. Okay. So you'll want something earlier. The nine-year like if you're like 9. It's gonna be 3. 9 o'clock. 15 year for your time or probably about 9 o'clock because 6 hours ahead is going to be might. yeah. The 3 o'clock your time. >> Okay. We continue out if we have that time available. Yes, at 09:00AM. >> find that 1, 0, 5, 1, 1, many well were corrected. remaining once it's January. So >> this global call you and hopefully you can. Every country to work through process. You're a little bit. >> You know, we're just so I think city is going to send you a copy of this. So that will help you communicate with your on track. Let's give. Thank you. >> Record for city of Sarasota for 6 or else. Each case. Number 2026, 0, 0, 8, For the record, please. Jennifer, earlier, yep. Ryan, as you know, I would start with the Start with Miss Kennedy and come right back. So this can be whenever you're ready. >> Thank you, Mr. Ellis, this is a continued case that we have 4, 16 Dash, 47 of our city code for the accumulation of junk rubbish and trash. I think the first hearing we did like a 60 day monitor period and had fallen back out of compliance and then it looks like there's not been any change. We have more stuff by the curb and there some tree debris and things there. So I just be looking to the to see, you know what, what kind of timeframe we're going to need to clean this up and bring it back into compliance and keeping compliance. >> I mean, happens to be that you guys go exactly when this is happening. I just passed by this morning and it's cleared when they put book stuff out there. I immediately called the book pick-up. We're not on site. So I'm coming like 3 times a week and maintenance is there Tuesdays and Thursdays. So this morning they cleared out everything, OK, when it's like book stuff. I called the City. I mean, right? It's just unfortunate that the inspector there. We just had move out on the 14 an I mean, I have proof of all of in my system. Some like, okay. You know, they there were probably the ones that put that furniture out there. >> So will probably need one more inspection to verify compliance. Let me see you out. Yeah. We see what we have. I hate to keep bringing it back. But we have next week, July the TWENTY-THIRD or we have July 30th available. Whatever is going to work for you. July 30th works. Okay. then we have an 8.45. We have a 10. >> If what if I work a 45? Okay. >> the case July 32,020 16. 45 am my Not like it's already place. thank you. >> No problem there. >> Thank you, sir. ? ? ? >> Your call has been forwarded to an automatic voice message system. Sorry, the mailbox belonging to 2, 3, 9, 6, 9, 2, 7, 4, 8 time it's fall and will not receive your message. Please hang up. Are you still there? >> All We a Jeffrey minutes scheduled to Pierre by telephone today. Unfortunately, he did not take the call and there's no voice mail ability. I others on his phone. So we will go on record for next 2 cases, city of Sarasota verse Rcp Lending Fund the First LLC case. Number 2024, 0, 0, 92. 2025, 0, 0, 9, 8, 5, And so what the city's position on these 2 cases. >> Okay. I'll take them separately the first case 2024. 0, 0, 9, 8, 2, is violation of our Florida building code. One of 5.1 for an interior demo without a permit the permit was issued back in April and we have not had any We have had some sun inspections. It looks like they had a couple on or just one on the 8th. So he is working through the process on that one. So I think we're good just to push that went out with the rest, going pushed out. So the second case, 2025, 0, 0, 9, 8, 5, As for violation of city Zoning Code section 7 Dash 3.27, for a dead or damaged tree. I spoke with the arborist and she states that the trees are growing back and they're growing into a neighbor's yard which cause some damage last time from the hurricanes and the neighbors had to clean it up. So we were really hoping that Mr. Menace would be here today are up here by telephone. So we could get a timeline for the removal. With that. Our last hearing, June 11th, you started $100 daily running fine. Today. We're asking you to increase that to be running fine to 2.50, to get some movement so he take the tree out. >> All Modify prior order, increase the daily run the to 50 per day. And that's case. Some resolution to this or >> there is this is a continue case. I think this is the 3rd or 4th hearing Mr. Staying Christopher same was counsel for Mr. Leveson this was related to an accessory dwelling unit that was constructed without a permit. And then for permitted use for having 2 dwellings and a single-family residence we had said I think zoning had stated that if they received a letter and a floor plan particular. I think we put it on record last time that we would dismiss this case. The city's agreed with that. So we had we received the letter on 7.14. So we're dismissing the case. >> You think of a kid on the dismissed the case, that's Thank you. And these 2 cases. So the city's position. >> These are continue cases that we have the first one, 2026, 0, 0, 3, 0, 6, As violation of city Code Section 16. 47 for the accumulation of Joe jumped provision. Trash 16 dash. 29 see for overgrowth. Both those remain out of compliance. The second one, 2026, 0, 0, 3, 0, 7, is for the violation of city code. 16 Dash. 47, the accumulation of junk rubbish and trash. 16 dash. 29. See for overgrowth. And then section 7, 3, 13 of our city zoning code for trees overhanging the sidewalk or right away at a low height. All of these violations are out of compliance. We've had no shows at all of the hearings and we're currently running at $250 per day. So the city's requesting that we Continued out one more time and then the next. And we'll just get the authority to correct. Okay. >> All right. So pick a new date here against them. And we've August, the 13th. >> We've got 1 o'clock. both KSAT August 13th at one of 01:00PM. There are 2026 0, 0, 1, 7, 0, And for the record responded, not presence. So what's responders behalf so its position on this? >> Well, this is to continue case today for a violation of our city Code Section 16 Dash 47 for the accumulation of junk rubbish and trash. That violation remains out of compliance. As you can see from our photos. with that, I was hoping that Mister Davis would appear at least by telephone to give us an idea of when they plan to clean up the property since we've gotten no response past couple of times, we do have an updated affidavit. That reflects an initial inspection of November. The 12th of 2025, the notice was mailed November 19th a notice to serve December 15th by posting compliance is set for December. 20th. The property is not currently in compliance. The civil fine began running on December. The 21st through July, the 14th, that's 206 days at $100 per day for $20,600. And then 5 inspections at 5.40. The city is asking you to enter this affidavit and 2 into evidence of exhibit number one and to impose the fines and costs. they're in. >> admit the exhibit as exhibit one fund 60. 47. That's because continuing all oppose a civil fine to date of $20,600 Costa. They also impose a 5.40 yesterday, $100 per day dealing running fine until violation is corrected on to keep the Martha Nichols. Is required to attend the next hearing. And what we have. >> We August the 13th at one. 45? I happen to the case out August 13th. be at one 45 pm. >> I will go next. The city of Sarasota versus Rodrigo Michelle and Rosa. Michelle. Case number 2026, 0, 0, 0, 6, 6 for the record. No one's here on behalf of respondents. So cities position on this case. >> Yes, this is a continued case that we have 4 violation our city could section 16 Dash 47 for accumulation of junk rubbish and trash. 16 dash. 54 an inoperable unlicensed vehicle. violation was corrected with our inspection on June, the 10th and then section 7 to 14 be of our city zoning code. For a prohibited commercial vehicle. That was violation, was corrected with our inspection on July. The 15th. And then we have sections 7 to 14 E for a commercial trailer. That's not Bufford remains out of compliance. And in 3 a 7.4 for ever standard housing code for care premises, they're storing construction materials on the property which remains out of compliance. So we do have 2 violent, 3 violations that remain out of compliance back at the last hearing. No, I wasn't at the time before you increase the daily running fine to to 50 per day. And then we did have a little movement with the vehicle and then the commercial trailer or the commercial prohibited commercial vehicle. But we've had nothing sense. So we'd be willing to continue this one more time. And then if not, we'll just bring that fire the party. So we're looking August. The 13th. ? Available time is 02:00PM. >> Cal adopt the. The findings of the as that line moves. Kennedy of the violations. And I will just come to the KSAT August 13 to 02:00PM on the Cape that the respondents are required to attend the hearing. I will go next. Us city of serious adverse Marvin hinted Ph D case number 2026, 0, 0, 8, 8, 7, for the record. No, it's here on behalf of Marvin Ph D he's not present. So the city's position on this case. >> Well, this is a new case today for a violation of our city Code Section 19 Dash 2, a for renewed for doing the local business tax receipt for the business as well as the professional. I hate this business and professional. They are out of compliance at this time. And I was hoping the respondent would be here so we could talk about a timeline to get that issued. But with that, we do have an affidavit prepare that reflects an initial inspection of April 15th of 2026. The notice was mailed on April 15th. The notice was served on the 21st of April by Certified Mail. Compliance is set for April 24th, the business and the professional. They're not currently in compliance. Sorry. We had a blackout. And I was so good about getting it already. OK? And there we go in the civil fine began running on April, the 25th through July, the 10th. That's 77 days at $100 per day for $77,700, 3 inspections at $390. The city is asking that you enter affidavit into evidence as exhibit number one, the notices of hearing as exhibits 2, 3, and to impose the fines and costs shown their hand. >> On 1, 2, 3, find that there's a continuing violation of. to a a he said violations a way that they were corrected and October. No, no, it's sorry, 2 violations. 9, 2, dash, 2, 8, based on the affidavit all met around Jose 1, 2, 3, are admitted by did say that. And Allan Poe's of Civil fine of $7700 today cost today to 3, $1900. We'll $100 a day daily running. Find 2 violations corrected on the Cape. Marvin hinted Phd's required to attend. The next market Hinton. Is anyone and what her date? >> We have August the 13th at 2.15. >> All right. the case up to August, the 15th August, the 13th at 2.15 on. >> I wasn't here. All right. We do have some correction dates, the maintenance standards, 3.60, was corrected with our inspection on February. The second and then the parking lot landscaping requirements. As you can see, there's lots of new plantings corrected with our inspection on July, the 11th. So the property is currently in compliance. >> Okay, sir. agree with Okay. I would thought you might be so often it's 7, 3, or 4, 1, of his own. was correct. In July, 11th 2000. 26 7 Three-sixty was created back February. We do have a final affidavit for some final affidavit prepare that reflects a potential civil fine of 6 is at 16, $16,000. And then for inspections at 4.65. The city's not going to asking for any of this, Wolf. And we're asking for all of the city's costs at $465. So the taxpayer doesn't bear the burden for the Fun cost only forced see. get your response to that. Recommendations are. >> Because I just got the letter on the main just 2 days before I I'm not only the property, from Sony the levee. I understand that they know. And so aware of the situation right? It's >> So it's just this not asking all those. The 6th afternoon asking for nothing SOT and now it's asking for no final. Accept that note. No fine. All right. find a violation. 60 47 was correct. In 6/16/2026, which again takes us to the issue, fines and cost the city have a recommendation on that issue. >> We do. We have a first and final affidavit prepare that reflects a potential civil fine of $15,400. 5 inspections at 5.40. They were pretty good about responding. Pretty quick. We're not going to be asking for any of the civil fine, but all of the costs the 5.40. So the taxpayer doesn't bear the burden for the process. >> Alright, certainly get your response to that recommendation. That's fun. OKC, reasonable to me go with no fine and cost over the cost for what it would 40 I-40. And if nothing to make it on this All right. So we'll have a good day. We have case number 2025, 0, 0, 9, 9, 2, in 2025, 0, 1, 1, 9, 6, and supplies meant here before. So, you know, start with Miss Kennedy. I'll come right back to Summit County. Whenever you're ready. >> Thank you, Mr. take these separately. 2025, 0, 0, 9, 9, 2, is for violation of our standard housing code. 3 of 5.1, 5 for a shed that's in disrepair. The permit was reinstated. So we just need that final inspection to close it out on the second case, 2025, 0, 1, 1, 9, 6, That was a violation of Florida building code. One of 5.1. For offense. that was installed without a permit. appears that the permit was reinstated as well. We just need that inspection for that fence. So we're looking for some final inspections. So I just be looking to Mr. Clutch want to see when we can expect it would get contractor called that I do. The contrary by you by owner. >> Yeah. So you need to do is calling your inspections. Yeah. Yeah. So and just continue to me. >> When June was so busy at my job, you're my days off. So I kind of behind where I want to military out there. But I've been. >> Get it squared away. So yeah, we've had something about a letter and letter on file and then we're waiting for that mechanical ref to come through too. So just be looking to miss can sileo Mr. Hernandez to see what their time frame is for finishing up the permit and also to make one comment. If the shed has been removed, will need to have an on site just to verify that. So. Okay, counseling you. >> Yeah. So working through inspections it's just seems like every time they come out there, something still working through. My understanding is that this event is working on it as she as she gets that ability financially and stuff and then 16 dash. 54 an inoperable unlicensed vehicle remains in compliance. As of our inspection. June tense. So really the only thing we're after is a fence permit right now. So just be looking to Miss Stevens to see what her timeline is or she has some sort of. >> Yes, spoke to. would like last week that we bring which way to go about it because I have the financial means to go about what I need to do. Well, then I guess we're just put on my front pushes south you some time to do that. He would. you think it's going to take that? >> I was a fence already in his offense yet. Is this that these events right whoever did from the city can come out? I can pay them when they out and make sure it's on my property 9. That's not a problem. So does she need a contractor to call that enters? know, she could do it herself because she owns the property in her name. So she on call while she has to do it and application. >> And then it has to go through approval, you know, through zoning and OK, maybe a suggestion, just walk over next door in time get the application or maybe talked him. I don't think so. We do have a final affidavit prepare that reflects a potential civil fine of $33,000. Then 8 inspections at 800 sorry, $765. All opposed to a $500 and 7.65 and cost idea bacon on this and know you Let's go close out, Thank you. Thank you very much. Like your thing miss or visits take care. Maybe 30 days. 45 days to give them an opportunity to get that permit issued. >> All right with that. So looking looking at. >> August, the 13th.
