We aim to bring greater transparency to the price and quality of health care. We will look for ways patients can save money using that information, and we will remove protectionist barriers so healthcare professionals from outside Florida can move here. Florida's attracting families, businesses, and seniors, and over the next five years, our population will grow by almost 300,000 per year. The Senate President had a great initiative this year. We joined in part of that as well, and offered in reciprocity to make sure people that are qualified in other states can come in and help. with the deep need we have in our healthcare area. This Baker Act and Marchman Act reform will serve to streamline the process for those truly suffering in our state, their families, our court system, and our healthcare providers. This bill is designed to address major problems in the delivery of services to those who are most needed. This great bill establishes a website that will contain critical resources for pregnant women and expectant parents here in the state of Florida. HB 159 will allow pharmacists to screen an adult for HIV exposure. People will be able to come into your pharmacy, get medication that's going to save their lives. The price transparency provisions in the PCB increase transparency in the healthcare market, and encourage consumerism to empower patients and reduce costs. Today we can say we're taking up the 700 families off the waitlist, which is absolutely phenomenal. Tell the people in Florida that this Chamber, Republican or Democrat, cares about their working families and they're going to help them and they're going to help their children. They're going to keep their children healthy and they're going to ensure that they have economic prosperity. This is here today because of our Speaker, because of this bipartisan effort. We've looked at the real needs of real Floridians and delivered time and time again.
