MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING

CITY COUNCIL

CITY OF BOCA RATON, FLORIDA

MONDAY, DECEMBER 16, 2024

1:30 PM

The Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Boca Raton, Florida was held in the

Auditorium at 6500 Congress Avenue.

1\. CALL TO ORDER:

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Scott Singer at 1 :30 PM.

4\. REGULAR PUBLIC HEARING:

A. Resolution No. 146-2024

A resolution of the City of Boca Raton approving an agreement with CBRE, Inc. for the delivery

of professional services associated with the management and evaluation of public private

partnership (P3) proposals for qualifying projects, including unsolicited proposals, the

solicitation and assessment of competitive proposals, the negotiation of a Master Development

Agreement, and the evaluation of long-term operation and maintenance options for the

Governmental Master Plan Project; authorizing a waiver of procurement procedures; providing

for severability; providing for repealer; providing an effective date

The Mayor announced the purpose for the meeting, noting the item was pulled from the December

10th Regular Meeting Agenda due to questions being raised, and advised the question had since

been addressed. Deputy City Manager Andy Lukasik made himself available to respond to other

questions.

The public comment period was opened and, seeing no one come forward, closed.

Council Members shared their thoughts and concerns on the agreement with CBRE and

reimbursement schedule.
