What This Bill Proposed
Senator Rodriguez introduced SB 640 to authorize the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court to select up to 235 additional nonjudicial managerial or policymaking positions within the judicial branch for in the of the Florida Retirement System, effective July 1, 2026. The bill also requires the Executive Director and General Counsel of the Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission to participate in the class.
