7.3 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Off Coast of Southern Mexico

A 7.3 magnitude earthquake and a subsequent aftershock occurred off the coast of southern Mexico on Friday morning. The U.S. Geological Survey reported the initial quake struck at 6:48 a.m. at a depth of 9.3 miles.
