New Law Ties Federal Student Loans to Graduate Earnings

A new law mandates that college programs prove their graduates earn more than individuals with only a high school diploma to maintain eligibility for federal student loans. Approximately 300 programs in California, primarily in cosmetology and the arts, are currently at risk of failing this new performance standard.
