March 31, 2026Coral Gables Waterfront Communities HOA Board Meeting Minutes ZOOM CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL Chairperson Schrager,Board Member Quevedo,Board Member Davis,Board Member Martinez,Board Member Stefano,Board Member Sanabria and Board Member Kutner Present: 7 - Vice Chairperson Diaz and Board Member Higgins FaradjiAbsent: 2 - APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES Moved by Board Member Martinez. Seconded by Board Member Kutner. PERSONAL APPEARANCES Special appearance by Lorrena Garrido, Waterway Advisory Board Liason and Publc Works Administrative Manager. - City is trimming mangroves at Cocoplum bridges - Next up, the city will look at Gables Estates for mangrove maintenance - Advisory Board is working with the County on the details for the viewing platform at Riviera at the Underline to ensure it does not hinder water access. - They are also studying the kayak launch at Blue Road Park DISCUSSION ITEMS Boating Safety - Something should be done given the two recent fatalities. What can the community do to keep families safe while boating? Kill switch and Garmin device detects if someone is off the boat. Enforcement and visibility of law enforcement. Staff to review issue with Mayor Lago. Sunrise Harbour - Wants to close the street to the public. Request a more thorough response from City Staff, wants the issue to be looked at closer. Why can’t it be re-designated? Does county or state allow? Board Member Davis to send follow up email to staff. Speed in communities - Is it an issue in communities? Roaming security doesn’t seem to work. Do signs work? Can PW come out to do a site visit Page 1City of Coral Gables

March 31, 2026Coral Gables Waterfront Communities HOA Board Meeting Minutes with Gables by the Sea HOA rep? Signs are jurisdiction of Dade County - FYI. Flooding in recent weeks - King tides have made matters worse. City has 10,000 storm drains. If it clogs, call the City and they will come and clean it out. Residents are also encouraged to clear debris blocking drains to allow water flow. Old Cutler Bay - 20 streetlights are out. Staff to track and report updates. Old Cutler Bay is interested in a special taxing districts for street lights and even traffic calming. Gables by the Sea - Would like to add few pet waste stations. Garbage trucks speeding at Gables by the Sea - What can be done? Trucks track speed and speeds are reported to administration. Board Member Martinez requested board benefit package. DISCUSSION ITEMS ADJOURNMENT NOTE Any person who acts as a lobbyist pursuant to the City of Coral Gables Ordinance No . 2006-11, must register with the City Clerk, prior to engaging in lobbying activities before city staff, boards, committees and/or the City Commission. A copy of the Ordinance is available in the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall. Any person, or persons, wishing to appeal any decision made by the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at this meeting or hearing, will require a verbatim record of the proceeding upon which the appeal is based.
