The 30-second read

Recorded outcome

The board approved the minutes from the previous meeting after correcting the Chair's name.

The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board voted to carry over unfinished 2024 goals into 2025 and decided to pause discussions on new parkland acquisitions until the department's master plan is finalized. The board also approved corrected minutes from their November 2024 meeting.

Why it matters

Residents interested in new park space will have to wait for the completion of the city's master plan before the advisory board resumes discussions on acquiring additional land.
