This week-long celebration shines a spotlight on the dedicated professionals who play a pivotal role in enhancing the well-being and success of students across the nation. In recognition of the invaluable service our VVSD school social workers provide, we visited with Tibbott Elementary Social Worker Krizia Gonzalez. Krizia’s original plan was to become a special needs teacher because of a bond she had formed with a cousin with autism. That plan changed in college when Krizia took a class in social work.
