REGULAR MEETING

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 29, 2026 - 5:00 P.M.

MINUTES

A Regular Meeting of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee of the Town of Redington

Shores, Florida, was convened at 5:00 p.m.

Members Present: Ginger McQuigg, Cathy Sypnewski, Theresa Galivan, Loretta Fricks

Members Absent: Bonnie Utz, Emily Schrader

Other Municipal Officials Present: None.

One resident also attended this meeting.

1. ROLL CALL

2. OLD BUSINESS

a. There was no new information about the status of new signs, specifically a new

sign for Nature Park.

3. NEW BUSINESS

a. Discussion of project ideas submitted by members.

Eighteen ideas were discussed in detail to determine if they fell within the scope

of Parks & Recreation. The committee agreed that all the ideas that were

submitted warranted further discussion and then be presented to the

Commissioners. Each member will consider each idea in detail and come to the

next meeting prepared to discuss the priority and ways to implement the projects.

4. MISCELLANEOUS

a. There is a vacancy on the committee for a representative of District 1.

b. Next PAR meeting is Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 5 pm.

5. ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business before the Committee, the meeting adjourned at 5:58 p.m.
