PUBLIC MEETING Type Information, Procedural This is an opportunity for citizens to make suggestions, identify concerns, request information, or offer objective criticism about matters affecting the school district. The President invites anyone wishing to address the Board regarding any item, to do so at this time. If you wish to address a Board item on the agenda, you may do so now, or when the item appears on the agenda - prior to a vote being taken. To address the Board, please complete a Public Comment Card, located in the foyer area, and give it to the Superintendent's Executive Assistant. The President will call upon you at the Hearing Session or at the time the item appears on the agenda, as indicated on your Public Comment Card. When called upon, please give your name and then make your statement. Per Board Bylaw 9323, i ndividual speakers shall be allowed three minutes to address the Board on each agenda or nonagenda item. The Board shall limit the total time for public input on each item to 20 minutes . Government Code Section 54954.(2)(3) prohibits the Governing Board from discussing or taking action on any matter that is not on the published agenda.
