An Ordinance of the City Commission amending Chapter 2, “Administration,” Article V. “Conflict of Interest and Code of Ethics,” of the Coral Gables City Code to create Section 2-309 “Anti-Kickback and Post-Approval Transparency Requirements,” providing supplemental local transparency obligations consistent with Chapter 112, Florida Statutes, and Miami-Dade County Code §2-11.1; requiring disclosure and public posting of post-approval business relationships, financial benefits, gifts, and campaign/political committee contributions connected to projects that appear before the City Commission; requiring sworn affidavits from developers/applicants and mandatory post-certificate of occupancy sworn certifications by elected officials; providing implementation requirements, enforcement, repealer provision, severability clause, codification, and providing for an effective date.
