DEA Proposes Ban on Synthetic Kratom Compound 7-OH

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) announced plans to temporarily classify the synthetic kratom compound 7-hydroxymitragynine (7-OH) and three related substances as Schedule I controlled substances. This classification would place these compounds in the same legal category as heroin and LSD.
